Introduction

SPUG's founders are united by a common goal: to introduce a fully open, unified subscriber profile store. SPUG's members each have their own commercial objectives, deployment timescales, and starting points; however, they all firmly believe in a data layer within the core network. Without this layer, SPUG believes CSPs will struggle to succeed in the future.

Ray Barghi, PhD: CTO and Principal Consultant

Ray Barghi has over 20 years of experience in technology, product, and strategic business development. He is a visionary, innovator, and problem solver, and is known as a "make it happen" person and customer champion. He is currently the CTO and Principal Consultant of SPUG, where he provides leadership, direction, and consulting for a growing global organization of 40+ global service providers. Kanth Jonnalagadda: Program Director

Kanth Jonnalagadda has over 19 years of experience in various management, program management, leadership and technical roles in the IT & Telecom industries, including Database Management, Software design, architecture, and development, and in-depth knowledge of Distributed Systems, Object-Oriented and Web technologies and Data Migration and Warehousing.
